Who should take this course?
This course is for students who have previously taken one semester of Yiddish. It is appropriate for those who completed Beginner I Yiddish in spring 2021.

What topics will this class cover?
This course starts at Unit 4 of Colloquial Yiddish. It covers elementary grammar, conversational and reading basics, with a strong emphasis on conversation.

Is knowledge of the Yiddish alphabet required?
Yes, a basic knowledge of the Yiddish alphabet is required. Students should be able to read the dialogues in the original (with occasional help from the transliteration).
